Welcome to my Bird Carving Galleries!

This is a gallery of some of the bird carvings that I have created over the years.  All bird carvings are life-size and carved from Bass Wood or Tupelo, and painted in acrylics.  Each bird carving is created one-at-a-time, on a commission basis. (Most bird carvings depicted here have been sold.)

I began bird carving in 1981 when I joined the Delaware Valley (PA) Carving Club.  I was a professional Art Director and Graphic Artist for 30 years.  Presently, I am retired and devote most of my time to bird carving.  My bird carvings have been exhibited in various shows and have won many awards.
